WHO?     (Click Here for Live Live Staff Bios)
Just who are these people bringing you all this fun over the radio and internet? We're still trying to figure that out for ourselves. Truth is the Live Live team is constantly expanding and will welcome you, whomever you are, with open arms. Join the ranks of David, Tim, DJ-1ey, DJ MY-T, and the other members of the Live Live family! Feel free to email us any time. About the Live Live creators: David (on Left)-Just back from a conference in American Samoa on how to appropriately "make it happen". David is now officially licensed to facilitate your groove. David hosts the radio show, does some writing here and there, contacts bands, and runs things from the front end. Tim (on Right)- Just out of a Czech penal colony where he was serving a ten month sentence for inappropriate vocal tone and lude dancing in a 'cultured establishment,' Tim is just glad to be here. Tim is the technology guru, webmaster, social networker, and music resource. He's got big ideas for Live Live ready to be put into action any minute now...but you won't see or hear much from him, as he's always been a 'back of house' kind of guy.

WHAT?
Even though we are producing Live Live as volunteers (no, we don't make any money on this at all!) we feel it our duty to update you on local musical events, review concerts, review venues, rant and rave, argue, make up, rock out, and generally have a good time. We firmly believe that everyone deserves music. Even aliens. That's why we created Live Live. Our weekly radio show on aims to build a positive sense of community through live music. Through our non-commercial programming, we encourage people to get out of their houses and congregate in the local music venues to meet other good people and enjoy quality live music. On the air, we strive to play as wide a vairety of live music as possible, and educate people on the live music resources available to them. Live Live is also a forum for local, up-and-coming, and independent musicians. Live Live, as a public radio program, is a free and powerful way of reaching a large amount of people with music that they might not otherwise have access to. We hope to bring new and fresh sounds to the ears of the people, and to build a positive sense of community by doing what we love.

WHY?
Some time last century, David and Tim met one evening while in the midst of a city erected for three days in the swamps of Florida. The exact circumstances, as they tend to be in stories like these, are fuzzy. The two parted ways, briefly rendezvoued in the midwestern cornfields the following summer, and rejoined paths in the summer of 2001 right here in Boston. There was much thinking and music in those days. They got to thinking (as one may do if they are lucky), "Huh. What a great thing this live music is. Brings people together. Makes people happy. Could this be a solution to the world's ills?"Survey says: Quite possibly! Our goal in doing Live Live is to get you, faithful listeners, out of your armchairs, away from your televisions, and out into the wide world of Boston to hear some cool music and meet some cool like-minded people at said concerts. We want to groove and jam, dance the night away, rock and roll, smile and be happy. And we want all of you to join us. Even you, over there in the corner. Especially you.
